BOARD OF DIRECTORS SPECIAL MEETING

October 24, 2025

 

The Clayton Ridge Board of Directors held a special meeting on October 24, 2025 in the Superintendent’s Office, Guttenberg.

 

Call to Order/Roll Call

President Jessica Bittner called the meeting to order at 8:00 AM.  Other members in attendance were Sam Brandt, Mike Finnegan, and TJ Pierce.

Also in attendance were Superintendent Shane Wahls and Board Secretary / Business Manager Logan.

 

There were no other guests present.

 

Approval of Agenda

Item 1. Employment – Hire Custodian was struck from the agenda. Motion by Finnegan and second by Pierce to approve the agenda as amended. Motion carried unanimously.

 

New Business

 

2. Overnight Travel

Motion by Brandt and second by Pierce to approve overnight travel for the Cheerleading team to attend the ICAA State Championship on November 1, 2025. Motion carried unanimously.

 

3. Open Enrollments

Motion by Finnegan and second by Brandt to deny 3 Open Enrollment In applications to the Iowa Virtual Academy due to IEP requirements. Motion carried unanimously.

 

4. Timberline Agreement

Motion by Pierce and second by Finnegan to approve an agreement with RelayHub, LLC to complete Medicaid billing. Medicaid billing had previously been completed by Timberline Billing, LLC but RelayHub, LLC recently acquired Timberline Billing, LLC and all its previous contracts. All terms in the original agreement with Timberline Billing, LLC would remain the same. Motion carried unanimously.

 

Adjournment

Motion by Brandt and second by Pierce to adjourn. Motion carried unanimously.
