When does online learning occur?

  • In the event of a school closer
  • If a student has tested positive for COVID-19
  • If a student is required to quarantine due to exposer

Expectations

Responsibilities

  1. Students will be responsible for bringing their device within the carrying case to and from school each day.
  2. Students will be responsible for keeping the device and accessories in good working condition.
  3. Students will be issued a school charging cord that will be kept at home.
  4. At the end of the school year the charging cord will be turned in with the device.
  5. Parents please consider assigning your child a safe place to work on and charge their device.
  6. Students will be responsible for bringing their device back to school charged each day so they are ready to learn.
  7. Parents please remind your child that this device should be used for school learning and projects only.
  8. School laptops will shut down at 9:00PM.
  9. School iPads will have to be physically shut down on site.
  10. Students will be responsible for maintaining good digital citizenship at home, just as they do at school, and show Eagle Pride: Ready, Respectful, Responsible and Safe!

Expectations

  • PK-4th grade students will use Seesaw to get activities and assignments.
  • Students and teachers will focus on reading & math.  Live sessions for these subjects will be approximately 30 minutes each.
  • Additional assignments for Music and PE will be provided within Seesaw
  • Students are expected to check their Seesaw every day for assignments

Expectations

  • 5-12th grade students will use Google Classroom to get activities and assignments.
  • Block Scheduling will be used in the event the school is shut down.
  • Students are expected to check their Google Classroom every day for assignments
  • Students will follow handbook policies regarding work completion and attendance.
    • Any excused absences entitles the student to make up their work for credit.  The responsibility for carrying out this make-up work rests with the student.  Make-up work is to be completed before the absence or within a reasonable time after the absence.  Generally speaking, a reasonable time may be considered twice the length of the absence (2 days absence, 4 days for make up, etc.)
  • Students will need to check in with teachers via zoom to take attendance for each class period.
