Seniors – just a reminder that your Senior and Baby Pictures are due in a couple weeks. I have about 8 students’ pictures only so far. If you miss the deadline, you may not be included in the senior video, Guttenberg Press, yearbook, and class composite.

I am excited to share the results from the Iowa FCCLA State Leadership Conference. Our FCCLA members represented our school incredibly well, and I am very proud of their hard work and accomplishments.

Emery & Kinley – Level 2, Focus on Children (National Qualifiers)

STAR (Students Taking Action with Recognition) Events challenge students to apply leadership and career skills through real-world scenarios. These students have dedicated many hours to preparing for their events, and their efforts truly paid off.

National Qualifiers will have the opportunity to compete this summer in Washington, D.C., at the FCCLA National Leadership Conference.

Thank you for your flexibility and for the many ways you contribute to shaping these students!

MS Activities:

The following information is for 7th/8th grade girls and boys middle school track.

The first practice of the season will be Tuesday, March 24

Practices will be Tuesday-Friday 4:00-5:15. Monday practice only if it is a school day.

At the end of practice athletes will have bus transportation back to the middle school and to Garnavillo if needed. If it is more convenient for you to pick up your child at the track or they walk home from there that is ok.

Warm clothes for practice!!

All athletes must have an up to date athletic physical before they are allowed to practice.
