This year, Speech is going to look a little different. We won’t be travelling to other schools and our performances don’t have to be on Saturdays. I am in the midst of putting together either an in-person event for just our school or a virtual event with only our students involved. We can hold contest on any day of the week.
I held a meeting back in October, but have recently been updated on how speech is going to look.
If you are at all interested, this would be a great year to try speech, as we can eliminate stage fright and edit your performance to be the best it can be. Our contest will include a small body of students, and they will all be Clayton Ridge students!
Speech offers so much to you as a student and as an adult. The skills you master will help you in every career and in your relationships. Plus, it is FUN!
Please respond to this email if you are interested in either Large Group or Individual speech. We can make practices work with your schedule and the contest will be held on a day that works best for us all.
Thanks,
Mrs. DeGidio
